On October 11, the streets around the Butler County Courthouse came alive with the roar of engines as loud cars and proud owners gathered for the Rat & Rods Car Show, sponsored by the Butler County Rescue Squad.

A total of 49 Rats and Rods filled the square, each one showcasing creativity, craftmanship and plenty of horsepower. The event featured food, music, games, coffee and a 50/50 drawing, creating a fun filled day of community spirit. Chief Bobby Keown personally handcrafted all the awards that were handed out. A special touch that made the day even more memorable.

All proceeds from the event went on to help the Butler County Rescue Squad purchase life-saving equipment and supplies. The winner of the 50/50 drawing donated their winnings back to the Rescue Squad to further support the cause.
