Chairperson Boswell opened the meeting and declared a quorum present.
The minutes from the regular March 16th meeting were approved with no corrections after motions by Garrett and Gallagher.
Boswell turned the meeting over to Bragg for the financial report.
Bragg reported that Pennington Stave made the March payment of $6,866.75 on March 16th, the account interest of $2.05 was added on March 31st, and that leaves $28,233.87 in the bank account.
Boswell asked, “And we have not received the payment for this amount?”
Bragg replied, “No, not yet. We usually receive it in the mail around this time.”
Garmon asked, “What’s the balance of the loan now?”
Bragg answered, “Pay off as of today is $330,579.97.”
Garmon then asked, “Is it possible that that could be a line item in this monthly report showing that? I think it’d be nice if we could see that every month.”
Chairperson Boswell asked for a motion to approve the financial report. The motion was made, seconded, and approved.
“Michael Anderson, I spoke with both Charlotte and Michael. And yes, he is, according to Charlotte, he is in charge of that property (bordering the Industrial Park),” explained Boswell, adding, “He would like to have a five-strand, because he wants to put cattle on it.”
Anderson had sent an estimate copy quoting the cost of the 1,300 feet of five-strand hard wire. two single-end braces, and two single corner braces for a total of $4,280. The estimate was from Outdoor Additions in Cave City.
It was discussed that the agreement needs to note that the fence maintenance is Anderson’s responsibility.
The board then asked to enter into executive session, which was brief. Upon voting to return to open session, Boswell stated, “No action was taken.”
Garmon presented a check to Boswell for $546.20, the payment received for the line trees that were cut when new fencing was installed by Gary Bell. The check was then given to Treasurer Bragg.
There was no other business, and the motion to adjourn was made.
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 18, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Edmonton City Hall.
