GLASGOW, Ky. – November 6, 2025 – Tate, a global leader in data center and commercial environment infrastructure solutions, has officially completed the acquisition of the expansive 120 Donnelley Drive property in Glasgow, Kentucky. This milestone solidifies the company’s plan to establish its largest North American manufacturing facility at the location, marking the most significant economic development project for Barren County in nearly two decades.
The final transfer of the property, previously owned by Contemporary AmPerex Technology Kentucky LLO (CATK), was finalized with the signing of the official documents by Tate CEO Daniel Kennedy on November 4, 2025.
The project represents a substantial investment of $61.2 million and is set to create 400 new full-time manufacturing jobs in the community, with a focus on producing advanced solutions for data centers and commercial environments.
Maureen Carpenter, President and CEO of the Barren County Economic Development Authority, was present for the signing and shared her enthusiasm for the project’s completion. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to see this exciting chapter begin,” Carpenter stated. “This historic announcement reinforces that Barren County is a place where businesses can thrive and people can prosper. We are incredibly proud to welcome Tate and Kingspan Group to our community and look forward to the opportunities this will bring.”
The 764,000-square-foot facility, built in 1968, will undergo significant renovation to become a state-of-the-art production hub. The acquisition and subsequent development are expected to provide a considerable boost to the local economy.
Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear had previously joined leaders from Tate and its parent company, Kingspan Group PLC, at their Ireland headquarters to confirm the plans in October, hailing the project as a major win for the region.
