Tony Eugene Turner

GLASGOW – Tony Eugene Turner, 79, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Eldon Turner and Louise Bowles Turner. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love of University of Kentucky basketball and the New York Yankees. He was a member of Glenview Christian Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Sue Gass Turner; three children, Greg Turner (Amanda), Karla Gentry (Troy), and Brian Turner (Tammi); two step-children, Chad Christie (Anita) and Tommy Christie (Cheryl); thirteen grandchildren, Hannah Turner, Grant Turner (Jordan), Connor Savage, Hailey Carter, Abbey Turner, Emery Turner, Hillary Brooking (Ryan), Shandi Oaks, Chase Christie, Tavian Christie, Savannah Christie, KJ Green, and Lauren Estep (Will); twelve great-grandchildren; two brothers, Terry Turner (Pat), and Chuckie Turner (Debbie); two sisters, Judy Beam (Daryl) and Carol Harlow (Dean).

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two step-children, David Christie and Kelly Christie; and one sister, Glenda Pedigo.

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, August 17, 2026, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 8:00 a.m. on Monday until time for the service.
