Grace Mitchell Pedigo

GLASGOW – Grace Mitchell Pedigo, 85, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mable Martin Thomas.

Grace was a graduate of the Highland Plains High School in Hopkins County and a retired employee of Houchens Industries. She was a member of the New Salem United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Terry Pedigo (Lisa) of Glasgow; one granddaughter, Whitney Phillips (Derek) of Glasgow; one brother, Raymond Clyde Thomas, Jr. and wife Sharon; one sister-in-law, Margie Thomas; and one brother-in-law, Tony Martin; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J T Pedigo; one brother, Richard Thomas; and five sisters, Estelle Thomas, Virginia Rogers, Barbara Jean Norman, Louetta Pedigo, and Brenda Martin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
