Spring Break kicked off with creativity and fun at the Butler County Public Library on Monday, April 6, 2026, as approximately 45 children and adults attended the “Create Your Own Stay-Cation” activity bag event from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
The event offered families a chance to start their spring break with an engaging afternoon at the library. Children were invited to build their own personalized activity bags, selecting from a variety of items to take home and enjoy throughout the week.
Available items included Play-Doh, Tic-Tac-Toe boards, bubbles, building blocks, and many other fun and creative options. Kids were encouraged to mix and match their favorite activities, giving them the opportunity to express their creativity while putting together a bag tailored just for them.

The Stay-Cation bags provided a simple and enjoyable way for children to stay entertained during spring break while also inspiring hands-on play and imagination.
Be sure to keep up with the Butler County Public Library for more spring break activities and events planned throughout the year. The community is also eagerly anticipating the opening of the new library facility this summer. For more information you can call 270-526-4722 or www.bcplky.org.
