Data Confirms EF-0 Tornado in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY — High winds moved through Butler County during the evening of March 15, 2026, causing damage to homes and property across the area.
Preliminary National Weather Service data indicates an EF-0 tornado in Butler County, along with an EF-0 in Logan County and an EF-1 tornado in Warren County near Richardsville.
Reports of downed trees and debris were seen in several locations, including along Bryant Hollow Road, where a large tree fell onto a residence. The impact caused visible damage to the home and surrounding property.

According to available weather data, strong wind gusts were recorded across the region that evening, contributing to the damage. While conditions varied throughout the county, winds were strong enough in some areas to bring down trees and limbs.
No injuries were immediately reported, but residents were left to assess cleanup and repairs in the aftermath.
