It’s been talked about for years, but in October 2022, the Edmonton Metcalfe Chamber of Commerce announced the plans for a stage to be built in the courthouse yard, and a committee had been formed earlier that year.  

 Brochures with the design concept to match the historic courthouse were printed, and soon the donations began rolling in. From gold level down to friendship level, little by little, the total grew.  

 At long last, the day has arrived. Last Friday, the groundbreaking occurred, although due to rain immediately after this photo was taken, the celebration moved to the Chamber of Commerce office. 

 It will be great to watch the construction of a stage that will be used for many years to come!
