Lady Cats show Lady Bears Who has the Sharpest Claws

Edmonson Lady Cats broke their losing streak on April Fool’s Day, against Butler County.
#1 Julie Norris pitched a great game for the Lady Cats with 5 strikeouts against Butler. The Lady Cats #6 Hayley Sanders, short stop, scored an over the fence home run during the first inning, which put the Lady Cats on the scoreboard first. Edmonson scored 4 more runs in the second inning bringing the score to EC 5- Butler 0.

The third inning saw Butler County score 2 runs and Edmonson answered back with two of their own. During the fourth inning neither team seemed able to score, bringing the score to Edmonson-7 against Butler’s-2.

In the bottom of the fifth #8 Brooklyn Carroll scored again for Edmonson. At the end of the fifth ending the score was EC-11 Butler-2.

During the sixth inning the Lady Cats held off the Lady Bears. In the top of the 7th Butler County scored another run. The Lady Cats were having none of that and quickly shut down the Lady Bears. The final game score was Edmonson County 11- Butler County 3.
