Lady Bears Fall to Edmonson County

The Butler County Lady Bears played the Edmonson Lady Wildcats in an away game on April 1, 2025. However, in the first inning, Edmonson scored first.

The Lady Bears continued to trail Edmonson as the Lady Cats scored 4 more runs in the second inning. During the third inning Butler County came back with two home runs but just couldn’t catch Edmonson. During the fourth inning the game was an even match with neither team managing to score.

#10 Miley Franzell puts a little spin on the ball.

Edmonson’s pitcher hit #13 Jenna Tomes in leg moving, #6 Emmalin Modes to second base in the bottom of the fifth. This accident was still not enough for the Lady Bears to score. Edmonson County hit a short pop fly in the infield to Butler’s Pitcher Miley Franzell for the third out.

Butler County scored during the 7th inning bringing the final score to Edmonson 11- Butler 3.
