On August 6th, the Edmonson County Back to School Bash was held at the Edmonson County High School Gym. It was a great way to start off the new school year, with many businesses and organizations coming together to help supply school necessities and goodies to help students look forward to the start of school. The bash has been going on for many years, and each time, it grows and expands more and more, really showing the community’s dedication to the children of Edmonson County.
The whole gym was full of kids and families enjoying their community’s support by receiving school items for free. Each and every kid received free supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and erasers, along with some toys and other goodies. Needless to say, the bash was quite a success, giving all the kids a chance to meet new people and learn about different resources throughout the county. The whole event was sponsored by FRYSC: The Family Resource and Youth Services Center.
All in all, the bash was a great and resourceful way to show support for the future and children of Edmonson County as well as the businesses within it. It’s time to start the best school year yet. Go Wildcats
