Carla Mae Finn Houchens

GLASGOW – Carla Mae Finn Houchens, 74, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the T. J. Samson Community. She was a daughter of the late Horace Finn, Jr. and Eurma Payne Finn.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Houchens and Wally Houchens; six grandchildren, Courtney Morgan (Travis), Whitney Houchens-Bryant (Casey), Kassie Matthews (Jewell), Cody Houchens (Rachel), Seth Houchens, and Blake Houchens; nine great-grandchildren, Korah Marie Morgan, Baby Morgan due November 2026, Caleb Houchens, Maverick Bryant, Ameila Bryant, Hunter Bryant, Konner Houchens, Mayson Houchens, and Ellison Houchens; two sisters, Teresa Lane and June Bennett (Chuck); one sister-in-law, Wanda “Sug” Vincent; brother-in-law, Larry Houchens; special grandson, Landon Rutledge; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George “Buddy” Houchens, Jr.; her sister, Anita Houchens; and two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lane and Wayne Vincent.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until for services.
