Story Hour Graduation

On Wednesday, May 6, the Metcalfe County Public Library celebrated the children who will attend school this fall with a special Graduation Ceremony.

The program began with all Toddler Time and Story Hour participants in attendance performing “The Good Morning Song,” “The Alphabet Song,” “Days of the Week,” and “Months of the Year”. Each participant also received a Listening Award. Summer events and activities were announced.

Children’s Librarian, Ashley Holley, shared the fun everyone had over the past year and celebrated how the children have grown through learning to listen, share, take turns, and explore new things. Each graduate was then recognized individually and presented with a diploma.

Toddler Time is a program for children ages 6 months to 2 years and is held on Tuesdays. Story Hour, designed for children ages 3 to 5, takes place on Wednesdays. Both programs will return in September
