Gary Lee Hurtt

EDMONTON – Gary “Bo” Lee Hurtt, 68, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2026, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Scottsburg, IN, he was the son of the late Tillman Green and Edna Ruth Laykin Hurtt. Mr. Hurtt worked in maintenance at an apartment complex. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was always ready to help someone in need. Mr. Hurtt was of Christian Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda “Jeanine” Hagan Hurtt of Edmonton, KY; three daughters, Stacy Finley, Whitney Israel (Shawn), Angela Collins (Josh); one son, Dustin Hurtt (fiancé Nichole); grandchildren, Summer Towe, Jaznine Finley, Michael Finley, Allie Finley, Laykin Hurtt; two great-grandchildren, Eznerelda and Chance; four brothers, Richard, Jim, Ike, and Mike Hurtt; four sisters, Joyce, Debbie, Marsha, and Norma; along with several nieces and nephews.

In honoring Mr. Hurtt’s wishes, the family chose cremation with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY is assisting the family with their service.
