Bonita Gail Bober

WALLBURG, NC – Bonita Gail Bober, 61, of Wallburg, North Carolina, passed away at home on April 12, 2026.

She was born on July 20, 1964, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to Betty and Wilson Hurt Jr. Some of her fondest childhood memories were being on the family farm in Kentucky. She worked at Volvo for the last 15 years as a Senior Customs and Trade Compliance Manager. Bonita loved animals and especially her grandchildren; they held a special place in her heart.

Bonita was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Hurt Jr. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving son, Richard Bober (Krystal Sadler); wonderful mother, Betty Hurt; sisters, Amanda Alderson and Michelle Goad; brothers, Jamie Hurt (Chrystal) and Jeff (Jay) Hurt; grandchildren, Casey Arnold, Zachary Bober, Jaxon Bober, Gavin Pettit; and her best friend, Audrey Bradshaw, who she loved dearly because a true good friend is hard to come by.

We are thankful for each and every one of you and for all of the support.

She will be loved and missed by all. It’s time for her to be free and fly.
