On December 30th, Edmonson County High School hosted its annual Caveland Classics Basketball Games, proudly sponsored by the restaurants Rafferteys and Double Dogs. The Edmonson Wildcats faced off against the Breckinridge County Fighting Tigers in an exciting matchup.

Standout performances include #3 Blayne Deweese, who successfully scored 7 of the 10 free throws. The Wildcats also made 9 impressive three-pointers, with #0 Braden Wright sinking three of those shots. Additionally, the team scored 32 field goals, highlighted by #30 Owen Ruth’s contribution of five.

Overall, it was a successful night for the Wildcats, and though Breckinridge County put up a tough fight, the Wildcats’ performance secured the win at 83 – 73. Better luck next time, Fighting Tigers.
