Candidate lists will continue to be updated as additional filings are received. Candidate filing deadline is January 9, 2026. This is the last day to file nomination papers for candidates who must run in the primary.

Candidates were invited to submit a candidate filing statement of 120-150 words along with a photo and office sought before the filing deadline. The following submission was received from T.J. Massey.

Friends and Neighbors of Edmonson County,

It has truly been an honor to serve you in my first term as Magistrate of District 2. These past almost three years have taught me so much. I have had the privilege to build relationships with many local, state, and national leaders, but most importantly with my neighbors in our community. These connections strengthen me and inspire me to do more and do better for EC. Since being elected, my family has grown from a family of four to a family of five, giving me an even deeper personal investment in making Edmonson County better not only for those who call it home today, but for the generations to come.

That’s why I’m excited to share, I have filed to seek re-election as your Magistrate for District 2. Thank you for your support, your trust, and your friendship!

Sincerely,
TJ Massey
Magistrate, District 2 — Edmonson County
