The Butler County Middle School Lady Bears continue to compile wins on the season with more than a dozen. This week marks the end of regular season and BCMS will start the postseason, which consists of the GRVC Tournament to be held this weekend at the Lady Bears’ home field and the State Tournament in Bowling Green, next weekend.

Coach Amy Rogers has the nucleus to repeat as champions of the GRVC. Her team has a mixture of youth, but a lot of game experience. At times, there have been some moments of maturation before the coach’s eyes through tough losses. On the flip side, her team has used their own confidence to overcome in the moment with some tight wins.

Needless to say, Coach Rogers raves on these girls all the time. “This group is talented and fun to watch, but even more fun to coach,” she exclaimed. With tough competition to finish, the team will put it all on the line this weekend and the next. “I’m excited to see how the rest of our season goes,” Coach Rogers concluded.
