Recently, now that basketball is over and it could be worked into schedules, the Butler County High School football team enjoyed an excellent meal and awards ceremony for the commitment from all the players, coaches, boosters, and families throughout the 2024 season.
Of course, the evening started with delicious dining of pork bbq and grilled chicken thighs prepared by Travis Vincent, while many other boosters rallied with other fixings; though, not before Cainan Vincent blessed the night’s meal.
Coach Robins and his staff expressed gratitude from coaching the players while introducing them individually by each class. The evening finished with them distributing player awards displayed on a football which had an action picture of the player, also.
It was a tear-jerking moment for many in the audience as they see the man their boy has become while reflecting how football has contributed a major impact on that. In what seems like a blink of the eye, each of these seniors move on in life searching for prosperous endeavors while loved ones cherish all the memories of their boys playing a game they loved.
Many thanks go out to the fans, boosters, administration, announcers, band, cheerleaders, sponsors, commentators, parents, coaches, and anyone left out, but especially to these young men who battled every Friday night on the field this past season. Watching the growth of them and how they worked as a team has been inspirational for all involved.
