CANDIDATE: Max Marion, Glasgow City Council
BALLOT: #16

My name is Max Marion, and I am running for re-election on the Glasgow City Council. For the people who do not know me, my wife’s name is Brittney and we have three boys; I am the son of Larry and Donnie Marion and the nephew of past Councilman Jim Marion, who served on the council for over 30 years. I have lived in Glasgow my entire life, except when I went to school in Bowling Green.
I’m running for City Council because we need an experienced person with fresh ideas that will provide the leadership and the voice for our citizens and community. We’ve experienced some tough times in our community, but I know things will get better. I’m running, also, because I feel I have the experience needed to make the place we call home, a better place to live. These are the reasons I feel I’m an excellent candidate for the Glasgow City Council, and I would greatly appreciate your vote and support.
