Dear Residents of Glasgow,

It is with great humility and sincere dedication that I officially present myself as a candidate for the upcoming City Council election this November. Placed at number 4 on the ballot, I stand before you as a proud resident of Glasgow since 2018, hailing from my hometown of London, KY. As a true “Wildcat” and an alumnus of the esteemed University of Kentucky, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted commitment to serving the people of this beautiful city.

Having resided in Glasgow for several years now, I have grown to cherish and appreciate the unique essence of our community. Our city holds a special place in my heart, primarily due to the incredible individuals who embody its spirit and vitality. It is the collective strength and unwavering resilience of our residents that inspire me to step forward and offer my service towards building a brighter future for Glasgow.

Change, albeit challenging, is an inevitable facet of progress. As an experienced professional in Human Resources at Dorman Products, overseeing a sprawling facility with 800 employees, I have honed my skills in managing diverse personalities and driving impactful transformations. Drawing from these experiences, I am confident in my ability to steer Glasgow towards a trajectory of growth and prosperity, ensuring that future generations inherit a city they can be proud of.

I firmly believe that embracing change is the key to advancing our community and preventing stagnation. By working collaboratively with fellow leaders and stakeholders, I aim to propel Glasgow to new heights, fostering a sustainable environment that fosters innovation, inclusivity, and progress.

Your vote for me is not just a choice; it is a testament to your trust in my vision for our city. Together, let us pave the way for a vibrant and thriving Glasgow, ensuring that our legacy endures for generations to come.

Thank you for considering me as your candidate for City Council. I look forward to the opportunity to serve you and our beloved Glasgow.

Warm regards,
Justin Martin
