Larry Roy Whitlow

SUMMER SHADE – Larry Roy Whitlow, 72, passed away Monday, November 17, 2025, at The Medical Center in Bowling Green, KY. He was born on October 29, 1953, in Marrowbone, KY, to the late Roy and Ruby Muse Whitlow.

Mr. Whitlow was a former employee of Larry Glass Construction and, more recently Hinkle Construction before retiring. He enjoyed cooking BBQ, gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a very loving and caring father, dedicating a day every week to each of his daughters. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include three daughters, Amy Pace of Glasgow, KY, Karen Partin (John) of Columbia, KY, and Felicia Branstetter (Joey) of Hardyville, KY; nine grandchildren, Devan Myers (Heather), Logan Pace (Brianna), Landon Pace, John Luke Partin (Haley), Macy Partin, Jace Partin, Jonas Partin, Carter Branstetter, and Case Branstetter; six great grandchildren, Aubrey Myers, Millie Brooke Myers, Ralynn Partin, Luke Partin, Jackson Partin, and Parker Day; a brother, James Whitlow (Karen) of Marrowbone, KY; and several other friends, and relatives.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at McMurtrey Funeral Home with burial in the Missionary Mound Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 pm and on Thursday from 8:00 am until time for the service at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

Bro. Tim Eaton will be officiating, and pallbearers will be his grandsons.
