Michele Lynn McCoy

GLASGOW – Michele Lynn McCoy, 56, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at NHC Nursing Facility. She was the daughter of Paul Gross (Kathie Johnson) and the late Barbara Jackson Gross.

Besides her father, she is survived by three children, Jeffery Wooten (Becky), Ashley Wooten, and Cody Wooten (Starla); thirteen grandchildren, Brianna Froedge, Kaylee Vibbert, Vada York, Abigail Wooten, Preston Norris, McKenzie Wooten, Layna Wooten, Lincoln Wooten, Emery Wooten, Tatum Wooten, Jason Wooten, Jacob Wooten, and Joshua Wooten; two brothers, Joe Gross (Lynn) and Dewey Gross; one sister, Kathy Slayton (Danny); several nieces and nephews.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Alfred and Wealthie Jackson; paternal grandparents, Cecil and Charlene Gross.

Funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home, with burial in the Poplar Log Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday until time for services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
