Elmer Truman Kline
GLASGOW – Elmer Truman Kline, 79, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late Joseph Edward Kline and Hazel Eugenia Vankirk Kline. He was a loving father and “Pap Pap” to his grandchildren. He was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. He was a former employee at Handmarkes for 22 years, and after their closing, he worked at Walmart for over 14 years until his illness.
He is survived by son, David L. Kline (Tina); two daughters, Tena R. Kerr-lund (Timothy Madden), and Felicia Ann Kline; eight grand children, Anthony Blisard (Denice), Dustin (Samantha) Kline, Leesha Long (Chris), Hazel Weaver (Jay), Charles Seeley, Alex Roberts, Jacob Lund, and Noah Taylor; seven great-grandsons; and two great-granddaughters; his brother, Don Kline; and sister, Hazel Rozena Kline. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Kline.
Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
