Danny Irvin Wells

BURKESVILLE – Danny Irvin Wells passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, having attained the age of 70 years, 1 month, and 16 days. He was born on Wednesday, August 17, 1955, in Albany, Kentucky, the son of Fred Earl & Dovie (Neal) Wells. He was of the Christian faith and was a hardworking farmer for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Wells, Marcus Wells, and Earl Wells.

He is survived by his siblings, Shirley (Johnny) Hoots of Glasgow, Kentucky, Donnie (Darlene) Wells of Columbia Kentucky, Joe Wells of Glasgow, Kentucky; nieces, Janice, Julie, Tina, Lisa; nephews, Jason, Gerard, Chris, Cody, Greg; great-nieces, Courtney, Kimber, Riley, Juliet, Gretchen; great-nephews, Tyler, Tristen, Noah, Grayson; great-great-nephew, Colt; and great-great-nieces, Laynie, Piper.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 1:00 PM C.S.T. in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Thurman officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m. in The Memory Chapel until the funeral hour on Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Gains Hill Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky.
