Wanda June Hawks

GLASGOW – Wanda June Hawks, 81, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2025, at NHC Health Care. She was the daughter of the late Barton Plemmons and Anita Malone Plemmons. She was retired from American Airlines.

She is survived by one daughter, Terri Lyn Adams (Roy); one son, Terrelton Young; seven grandchildren, Dustin McClinton (Ronnie), Coby Adams, Travis Adams (Emily), Autumn Rhodes (Jeff), Gavin Hodges (Brandon), Tyler Young (Andrea), and Courtney Lyons (James); ten great-grandchildren; one brother, Randy Plemmons (Revis)

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John Vernon “Pee Wee” Young.

Funeral will be at 2:00 pm Sunday, August 24, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am Sunday until time for the funeral.
