Everett Wayne Gentry

GLASGOW – Everett Wayne Gentry, 64, passed away July 19, 2025, at his residence. He was the son of the Late Kenneth Gentry and Anna Rhoton Watt. He was a retired fabricator for Tekno and knew a little about every trade. He spent a lot of time working on different projects in his garage. His family describes him as a loving husband, daddy, and papa.

Survivors include his three daughters, Kennedy Gentry, Brandi Gentry, and Whitney Wood (Brian); five grandchildren, Jack, Thomas, Cash, Maci, and Remi; two sisters, Shelia Williams (Todd), and Laura Peden; three nephews, Ben Williams (Brittany), Matt Williams, and Caleb Peden (Summer); niece, Sam Williams; and several cousins whom he loved. Additionally, he had an amazing caregiver and friend to the family, Lori Broaddus.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marla Peden Gentry.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Neals Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
