Linda Morgan Coffey

GLASGOW – Linda Morgan Coffey, 66, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025, at her residence. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Roger E. Morgan and Hettie Frances Jackson Morgan. She was a retired CNA at Glenview Health Care Center and a member of the Glasgow Faith Church.

Survivors include three children, Hettie Jane Meadows, Charlene Renee Eatmon (Michael), and Carlene Renee Byrd (Thomas Clay Byrd); three great-grandchildren, for whom she was guardian,, Trevor Dillion Meadows (Celsea), Dakota Travis Kidwell, Amanda Grace Eatmon, Melanie Brooke Byrd, and Landon Thomas Byrd; great-grandson, Austin Meadows; four brothers, Bernice Jackson (Tammy), Richard Morgan, Charles Morgan (Rita), and Raymond Morgan (Amanda); four sisters, Pansy Wright, Arlene Herron, Louise Wilson (Robin), and Sylvia Hatfield; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Chester Coffey; one brother, Dale Morgan; and one sister, Mary Ann Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
