Larry L. York

GLASGOW – Larry L. York, 71, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Cleo and Alma Broaddus York.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne Smith York; the sons, Tyler Chapman (Charity), Bernis Rupe (Trudy), and Mark Runyon; six grandchildren, Hunter Chapman, Joshua Medley, Dustin Rupe, Brooklyn Rupe, Marcus Runyon, and Madison Ruyon; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Cordie Eden; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Stanley Chapman, Jr.; five brothers, Jim York, Bill York, Alvis York, Freddie York, and Clifford York; and one sister, Jane Mackey.

Funeral will be at 1:00 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at the Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday and after 9:00 am on Wednesday until time for services.
