Mildred “Mitchie” Irene Brooks

GLASGOW – Mildred Irene “Mitchie” Brooks, 72, passed away at home surrounded by her family Saturday, May 31, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Orville and Clara Mae Decker Smith. She was a loving wife, mother, and Nana.

She is survived by her husband, Garry R. Brooks; one daughter, Lori and Terry Gray; one son, Greg and Kathy Brooks; six grandchildren, Cody Gray, Paige Gray, Ryan and Chaley Brooks, Matthew, and McKenzie Gray, Josh Brooks (Gentry Gray), and Logan Brooks; six great-grandchildren, Reagan Theppharaksa, Bentley Gray, Annzley Brooks, Sawyer Gray, Kyler Brooks, and Racelynn Brooks; one sister, Putchie Garmon; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Darlene (Gary) Medley, Ann (Jerry) Jackson, and Louise Smith. Her loving dog, Roxy.

Funeral will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 am on Tuesday until time for services.
