James Franklin England
EDMONTON – James Franklin “Frankie” England, 71, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at TJ Samson Hospital. He was born April 25, 1954, to the late Alfred England and Ruby Romines England Jessee, who survives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Ann Stephens; brothers, Danny Ray England and Timothy Lee England; stepfather, Truman Jessee; and his grandparents, Melvin Taylor Romines and Mary Corbin and Alfred and Hattie England. James was a member of Red Lick United Methodist Church. He was an Army veteran and a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Romines England Jessee; son, James Ernie England (April) of Edmonton; three grandchildren, Kristain, Sandra, and Cheyann; eight great-grandchildren, Tayden, Presley, Timber, Lendon, Lizzy Ann, Eliza, Luna and Grayson; sister, Joyce Fulton (David); brothers, Roger England (Marilyn), Michael England, and Terry Noel England.
Funeral services for James Franklin England will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Barnes Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM Friday until time of the service here at the funeral home.
