Vienessa Ann Martin

CAVE CITY – Vienessa Ann Martin, age 62, departed this life on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at her residence. The Barren County native was born on March 15, 1963, to the late Wendell and Mae Jewell Martin.

Vienessa dedicated twenty-five years of her life as a contracting officer for the National Park Service, a career that perfectly aligned with her personality. As a devoted member of Highland United Methodist Church, she inspired others by teaching Sunday School and serving as the church treasurer for many years. She also had a big heart for her animals, which brought her so much joy!

She leaves to honor her memory— her sister, Marcus Martin of Cave City; nephew, Lee Pedigo of Nashville; uncles, Odell Martin (Elizabeth) and Danny Green, along with several cousins.

The interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to: United Methodist Children’s Home or BRAWA.
