Danny Clifton Jessie

GLASGOW – Danny Clifton Jessie, 64, formerly of Knob Lick, passed away on May 1, 2025. He was the youngest son of Phillip “Bub” Harvey Jessie and Tina “Tiny” Vance Jessie. He is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother, Wesley Dale Jessie.

He is survived by his son, Colton (Adrienne) Jessie; and grandson, Otto Jessie of Louisville; his sister, Susan (Donnie) Jessie of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Jimmy (Dolores) Baldock of Bowling Green; and two nieces, Tina (Geoff) Baldock Denton of Plum Springs, and Karen (Jonathan) Olson of Bowling Green.

Danny was an avid sports fan, especially of Kentucky Basketball. He and Colton shared a love of professional wrestling, traveling as far as New York City, Nashville, and Chicago to attend live events over the years. Danny was a lover of music. He enjoyed playing the guitar and collecting records. He was a dedicated employee of 46 years at TJ Samson Community Hospital, where he worked in maintenance. He loved his friends and family, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Danny’s family has chosen cremation. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton.  Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. From 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, friends and family in attendance who would like to speak and share memories of Danny will have the opportunity to do so.
