Charles Ann Beck

TOMPKINSVILLE – Charles Ann Beck, 74, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Monroe County Medical Center. A native of Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Birdie Matthews Wisdom. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, sewing, and cooking. She was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Sam; six children, Tony King (Edna), Joyce York (Kevin), Charles King (Annette), Eddie King (Serena), Timmy King, and Beth Hutcherson (Brad); two brothers, Harold Wisdom (Vickie) and Darrell Wisdom; 26 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Tammy King and Junior Beck; one brother, Clarence Wisdom; and four sisters, Hazel Whitlow, Ina Rigney, Corrine Jones, and Jean Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses.
