Charles Ray Kerr

EDMONTON – Charles Ray Kerr, age 51, departed this life on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The Hart County native was born on August 14, 1973, to Janice Fay Clark and Junior Ray Kerr, who survive.

Charles was a genuinely kind-hearted person, who cherished his family and animals. There was a perfect, God-given part of Charles, and he found the most peace when he was gathered with his family at Ollie United Baptist Church, where he was a member. Charles found joy in building model cars and took pride as a mechanic for both cars and mowers. His playful nature brought smiles to those around him, and he often enjoyed sharing pranks that created lasting memories.

Besides his parents, Janice and Junior, he leaves to honor his memory— his siblings, Melissa Kerr of Brownsville, Tommy Joe Meredith (Shanuel) of Mammoth Cave, and Billy Jo Meredith of Brownsville; along with several nieces and nephews.

The interment will be in Clark Family Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Bowling Green-Warren County Humane Society.
