Patricia “Patti” Ann Carter

CENTER – Patricia (Patti) Ann Carter, 78, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her home peacefully with family. Patricia was born January 17, 1946, to the late Kenneth and Agnes Barnett. She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Brannum and Janice Brannum; a brother, Ray Barnett; her grandson, Kenneth Glenn Faulkner; and one great-granddaughter, Alice Hadley Bowles.

Patricia was a wife, mother, MaMa to all her grands, a proud American patriot, and most importantly a child of God. She loved her family and was sure to let each and everyone know she did. She loved tending to her flower gardens and feeding the little hummingbirds. She also loved music and singing on SingSnap with her son.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Carlos Carter of Center; a son Kenneth (Jayne) Faulkner of Wayne, MI; two daughters, Novella Redd of Center, and Louanna (Dennis) Bailey of Center; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Patricia has chosen cremation. She wanted her flowers while she lived and a celebration of life with her family was achieved in the months before her passing. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Butler Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted to the care of Mrs. Carter.
