Virginia Lee Young

GLASGOW – Virginia Young, age 84, peacefully entered her Heavenly home on Friday, June 12, 2026, at her residence. Virginia was born on March 4, 1942, to the late Jessie Jewell and Rhoda Berry Wells.

Virginia was a woman whose life was defined by hard work, kindness, and unwavering love for others. She retired after 23 years of dedication from NHC Healthcare.

She was a member of Bon Ayr Missionary Baptist Church, where she was saved at the age of 13 and baptized alongside her daddy.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memory four children, Debbie Reynolds of Park City, Marty Young (Bonnie) of Glasgow, David Young and Joe Young, both of Glasgow. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Heather Boyd (Tony) of Franklin, Brandon Houchens (Christy) of Glasgow, Brandi Alexander (Nic) of Glasgow, Miranda Young of Bowling Green, Brandy Johnson (Jason) of Bowling Green, and Brittany Young of Glasgow. Virginia is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and her sister, Dorothy Wood (Kenneth) of Park City.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Ronnie Reynolds.

Funeral services for Virginia Young will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 15, 2026, and Tuesday beginning at 8:00 A.M., until time for services at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Marty Young, David Young, Joe Young, Brandon Houchens, Nick Alexander, and Drakeston Reynolds.
