Randy Dale Glass

SUMMER SHADE – Randy Dale Glass, 63, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2026, at his residence. He was born on August 25, 1963, in Glasgow, Ky to the late Edward Marshall and Jerline Harp Glass.

Randy was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He spent his entire life working in construction and was never afraid of hard work. He loved spending time with his family, being outdoors, listening to music, and just enjoying life. He was easy-going and didn’t need much to make him happy. He may not have lived a fancy life, but he lived life his own way. He will be missed more than words can say and loved always.

Survivors include a daughter, Candice Shaw (Justin) of Summer Shade, KY; three grandchildren, Kenley Acree, Brylee Shaw, and Benton Shaw; six siblings, Dianne Depp, Edward Glass (Tammy), Steve Glass (Barbara), Donnie Glass (Debbie), Neda Youn, and Gaye Jones (Ricky); a good friend, Danny Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with burial in the Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30-8:00 pm on Wednesday and will continue Thursday after 8:00 am at McMurtrey Funeral Home.

Bro. Willie Dale Westmoreland will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Brian Depp, Bradley Glass, Jordan York, Matthew Glass, Brandon Glass, and Rylan Allara.
