Richard Harris

EDMONTON – Richard Harris, 86, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at Signature Healthcare in Glasgow, KY. He was born in Metcalfe County on November 13, 1939, the son of the late Lemmie and Elsie Davis Harris.

Mr. Harris was of the Baptist faith and a retired electrician and farmer. He enjoyed watching TV, playing pool, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sandra Blaydes Harris of Edmonton, KY; two sons, Daryl Harris (Tammy) of Glasgow, KY, and Mike Harris of Bowling Green, KY; and a granddaughter, Gracie Harris of Glasgow, KY.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Metcalfe Memorial Gardens with Bro. Josh Grider officiating.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00 pm at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.
