Barbara Ann Davis Brown

TOMPKINSVILLE – Barbara Ann Davis Brown, 88, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Monroe County Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born January 25, 1937, in Nobob, KY, to the late Rev. Elmer and Elva Vance Davis. She retired from healthcare and was a homemaker, along with a member of Society Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie Vrocher of Edmonton, KY; three sons, Aaron Brown (Tammy) of Edmonton, Barry Brown of Tompkinsville, and Anthony Brown of Tompkinsville; seven grandchildren, Brookie (Chad), Jack (Robynn), Candace (Curtis), Kayla (Justin), Jackie, Michael, and Alicia (Emily); eight great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Jason, Jayden, Samuel, Isaiah, Jordynn, Joslynn, and Keith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Brown; two sons, Eddie Brown and Randal Brown; one grandchild, Chad Brown; and a son-in-law, Jack Vrocher.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home in Edmonton, KY, with burial in the White Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue after 8:00 AM Friday morning until time of the service at Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home.

Bro. Rusty Brown and Bro. Terry Wilson will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Michael Brown, Curtis Wilson, Chad Walden, Aaron Valeriano, Jack Vrocher, II, and Russell Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be the Valerino family and Garry Brown.

Expressions of sympathy are requested to Jessie-Wilson Funeral Home to help toward funeral expenses.
