Myra Frances Boston

EDMONTON – Myra Frances Boston, born January 7, 1940, to the late John Thomas Lawson and Lily Blanche Lawson, departed this life on September 25, 2025. She attained the age of 85 years and 8 months. Frances was a loving wife to her husband, Lloyd Boston, for 65 wonderful years, married in July of 1960.

Frances was an avid gardener, taking great pride in growing beautiful flowers each year. She was a member of the Metcalfe County Garden Club for many years, where she met lifelong friends. Frances worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Hayes for 38 years, serving Metcalfe County and the surrounding areas. She was known and loved by all for her kind and gentle demeanor. Family was the light of Frances’ life.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, David Boston (Lorrie); a granddaughter, Rayanna Bragg; and a great-granddaughter, Ellie Bragg, whom she adored. Frances is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her sister, Elsie Berry, and brother, Harold “Buddy” Lawson.

Funeral services for Frances Boston will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home with burial in the Pink Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until time of the service Saturday, here at the funeral home.
