Wanda Jean Cowles

CAVE CITY – Wanda Jean Cowles, 64, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Elvie Frank and Betty Coomer Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Marty Cowles; one son, Kevin Cowles; three grandchildren, Veah Cowles (Jessie), Chloe White (AJ), and Damien Cowles; one great-grandchild, Oliver Key; three sisters, Margie Eatmon, Daisey Taylor (Christy), and Jennifer Cloyd (Robert): one half sister, Patricia Fancher (Gary); two brothers, Mike Taylor (Chrissy) and Ronnie Taylor (Rhonda); one half brother, John Fields (Jennifer); one sister in law, Tonya Hennion (Joel); two brother in laws, Timmy Cowles (Lisa) and Darrell Cowles; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by stepfather, Tommy Crowe; father and mother-in-law, Tommy and Carolyn Cowles; brother, Larry Taylor; sister, Lynn Benningfield; nephew, Kenny Benningfield; brother-in-law, Russell Eatmon.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Hiseville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday and after 9:00 am on Saturday until time for services.
