Willie Nichols

MERRY OAKS – Willie Nichols, age 84, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at his home. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a love for hunting and fishing. Willie never met a stranger and loved talking to everyone, and he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ireton Nichols and Lucille Ballard Nichols; one daughter, Theresa Walters; and two siblings, Birdie Atwell and Tommy Nichols.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Nichols; six children, Mark Nichols (Jennifer), Timmy Nichols, Frances Bush (Mike), Danny Smith (Brenda), Theresa Burris (Todd), Alan Keith; his loving fur baby, Rowdy; several grandchildren; four sisters, Minnie Cahoe (Cecil), Eva Matthews, Shiela Carnahan, and Zada Vincent; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM, at Winn Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and will continue after 8:00 AM on Monday until the time of the service at 12:00 PM.
