Kari Dodd Button

LUCAS – Kari Dodd Button, 53, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Freddie Dodd Button and Nancy Armstrong Button. She was a member of the South Green Street Church of Christ.

Kari was a native of Barren County and grew up on the Button family farm, working hand in hand with her Dad. Kari was known for transporting Amish families far and wide. She would transport the Amish products, livestock, or any other things they needed to be transported all over the United States. She was a beloved member of the community by all who knew her. She as well had a deep love and commitment to the community. She served her community with a servant’s heart.

She is survived by her beloved dog, Oreo; cousin, Suzanne Britt; beloved friends, James and Penny Barker, Jenny Hoffman; and so many others too numerous to mention.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
