Fannie Ellen Powell Kinslow

GLASGOW – Fannie Ellen Powell Kinslow went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at her home, at 94 years old. She was born July 23, 1931, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to the late Willard and Mary Powell. Fannie was a dedicated member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She also took pride in the time she spent as the commander of the DAV Chapter 20 Auxiliary.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Van Kinslow (Nina); grandchildren, Tina Perry (Joseph) and Eric Kinslow; great-grandchildren, Hannah Perry and Connor Perry; brother, Ray Powell (Ruth Ann); and she also held a special place in her heart for her numerous relatives who grew up closely around her and Elvis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Elvis Kinslow; and siblings, Robert Lee Powell, Mary Daisy Belcher, and Eliza Darr.

The family invites all who knew Mrs. Fannie to join them to celebrate her life. A visitation will be held on August 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
