Reitha May Esabelle Peterson

GLASGOW – Reitha Mae Esabelle Hibbs Peterson, 66, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Charles Minor Hibbs and Edith Henkins Hibbs.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Peterson (Carla), Jason Alan Peterson, and Justin Peterson; two grandchildren, Andrew Scott and Wyatt Rutledge; and two brothers, George Hibbs and Charles Hibbs.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Kenneth Peterson, who passed in January 2010; five siblings, Harold Eugene Hibbs and Blake McCoy, John Hibbs, Eileen Postlethwait, and Helen Roupe.

The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life at a later date. Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
