The Edmonson County Senior Food Pantry held a great event full of laughs for everyone on July 25, 2025.
Locals Matt Reynolds from his WPIG Facebook post and Brandon Hayes and Kyle White from the 42284 podcast took to the stage and kept everyone in stitches, all while raising money for the Pantry.

Matt Reynolds is known for his outrageous Facebook clips where he pokes fun at all things Edmonson County. When he was asked to do a standup routine for the Senior Pantry, he did not hesitate. Being a local, Matt has some pretty big stories to share with everyone, and the best part is that Edmonson County has to be the mural capital now. Matt also suggested that the boys from the 42284 podcast help out with the event, which Vickie quickly agreed to.

Brandon Hayes and Kyle White are definitely two originals. From talking about fried bologna sandwiches to Kyle making everyone think his sister was adopted, the stories they told about growing up struck a chord with many attendees.
Rick Keith was the auctioneer for the night, where some great items were sold, such as Montana Grill and Mis Amigos dinners, hand-made knives, and canes that brought much-needed money into the Pantry. Some of the gag items were a pig light, an opossum, and a homemade s’mores kit. You just never knew what was coming, and that just added to the fun.

Vickie Walker was very thankful to the guest comedians, Judge Scott Lindsey for the sound system, and all the volunteers who fixed concessions, took up money, and helped to set up for the event. The money raised will go towards providing senior food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
