Duane Morris York

TOMPKINSVILLE – Duane Morris York, 59, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2025, at the Signature Healthcare of Monroe County Rehab and Wellness Center. He was born on February 10, 1966, to the late Edwin Morris and Runnell Rhoton York.

He is survived by his wife, Faye York; children, Danny Joe Stinson, Andrea Stinson, Julie White, Dylan York, Josh York, and Cheryl Lankford, all of Tompkinsville; and 8 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his two sisters, Mary Childress and Patricia Cathart.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at McMurtrey Funeral Home, with burial in Yokley Cemetery in Tompkinsville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning and continue until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to McMurtrey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
