Dustin Dean Cope

HORSE CAVE – Dustin Dean Cope, 51, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, at his residence. A native of Coldwater, Michigan, he was a contractor and woodworker who especially loved designing and making wood art such as forks and knives. He was a member of the Iron Coffins Motorcycle Club.

Survivors include three children, Cheryl Cope, Natasha Cope, and Heaven Meister; one sister, Denise Dirschell of Coldwater; his step-father, Randy Rasmussen of Horse Cave; a special friend, Amber Shepherd and her children, Dylan Anderson, Connor Mollett, and Addison Mollett; nieces and nephews, Jacob Cope, Casie Cope (Peters), and Storm Dirschell; five great-nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Cope Rasmussen.

The family chose cremation with no services scheduled at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.
