James Freeman London, Jr.

KNOB LICK – James Freeman London, Jr. 80, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at NHC Healthcare. James was born November 14, 1944, to the late James Freeman London, Sr, and Willie Gertrude Scott London. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rometta Johnson; and nephew, Greg Johnson.

James was a member of the Hiseville Christian Church. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed every minute of it. James was devoted to his family and enjoyed watching sports.

He is survived by his sister, Sylvia Thompson of Node; three nieces, Carrie Thompson, Tina Dobson, and Melinda Matthews; six great-nephews; one great-niece; four great-great-nieces; and three great-great-nephews.

Funeral services for James London will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Bowles Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday and after 8:00 AM Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hiseville Christian Church building fund, PO Box 62, Hiseville, KY 42152.
